Mad Tea Party Development Report # 1

Okay folks ... here is my first report on the development Mad Tea Party attraction as I have promised. I thought it would be easier to start with the cups. But I had no idea. Here are two images from my first trial and failure Software MilkShape. It reminded me of the famous teacups. The design was quite angular.

Then I found a great software Blender and started from the ground up again. This time I had more patience. I tried to get close as possible to the actual Teetassendesign. I took photos of the various versions of the attraction and erschuff a blueprint using Adobe Illustrator 10 This helped me immensely. I was now able to get them right in the proportions. Well, the cups can not yet great, but at least I'm an absolute beginner 3D. I'm pretty sure I'll still be facing for some time.

Alice in Wonderland area

I have decided with one of my favorite Disneyland attraction to begin: the Mad Tea Party . Not only because it is a classic fantastic ride, but also because I love Disney's animated story of Alice's topsy-turvy world. I will build a whole wonderland department with another attraction and restaurants. some elements will be inspired by Disney attraction existing facades or other decorations, design sketches and of course the feature film of 1951 Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton and Alice upcoming project).

So this is what I try to create for my first fantasy land area. Some ideas may change in the future, but I hope that I will be able to build as much as possible. Do you know ... I am an absolute beginner 3D Model. Therefore, it can be hard to do something. Whatever the case, I'll try.

Mad Tea Party

is completely based on the classic Disneyland attractions. I have researched a bit to create a unique look for my version. It will combine different things by the world's existing attractions. Here are some examples of how it could look like.

The attraction is the sign of the Hong Kong version will be similar. I just love these oversized Alice-plants.

The queue will be decorated with such fantastic sculptures and a tea service.

The waiting time for the attraction may be viewed on the Tokyo Disneyland. The flooring is the same of the Mad Tea Cups attraction at Disneyland Resort Paris. Each of the 18 cups will have a unique color design.
The attraction will be illuminated by such a large lanterns. The roof is made of glass as in the Disneyland Resort Paris version. But the roof elements are not simply be a copy. Such large plants Alice (once again) will be the attraction of roof. a steaming teapot will be located on the top of the attraction. She is from Tokyo Disneyland attraction inspired.

Alice's Wonderland

It is mainly based on the Disneyland Resort Paris attraction, but also include some scenes and elements of Disneyland's Dark Ride.

You enter a giant maze and visited places and characters from Alice in Wonderland . For example, visits places like the house of the white rabbit.

Fish Dinners

This will be a small restaurant offering seafood and fish. The exterior is inspired by the Walrus and the Zimmerman sequence.

Queen of Hearts Royal Banquet Hall

It will be in many respects a replica of the great Tokyo Disneyland restaurants. I love the theme and design. In my opinion it is one of the best Disney restaurants.

The exterior is inspired by the palace of the Queen of Hearts from the Disneyland Resort Paris Alice attraction.

It will even accommodate a playground for children.

Time for Tea

This will be a place where you can buy some refreshments. The inspiration for this space is the non-birthday-sequence from the Alice in Wonderland his film.

The whole Wonderland area will have a lot of elements that are based on the original animated film like the stylized walk, or the rose bushes in heart shape.

Unlike the existing Disney theme parks Disneyland Canada will have a completely unique layout. Inspired by Dubai's artificial palm areas of Iceland and World Islands, I have chosen a very Disney-typical design.

Virtual Disneyland Canada Project

Welcome to my Virtual Disneyland Canada Project!

This page has only one goal - to create a 3D model of my ideas for a Canadian Disneyland theme park and any interested to the public. I intend, as often as possible to work on it so that it grows continuously. Disneyland Canada will never be completely finished, that I will try as long as I'm interested in this project, always new things to add or make existing elements again.

For now, the best way to explore it's probably the Blog Archive . I will update this blog regularly with sketches, designs and render the model, how it differs from simple forms to more or less complete parking areas, including attractions, restaurants, shops or whatever develops.

So why not a 3D model of an existing Theme parks to build? The answer is quite simple ... because it does not exist! I have had the opportunity of my imagination. I am not bound to existing layouts or blueprints. In many ways, Disneyland Canada will be unique. It would be too boring just an entire theme park for me to dupluzieren. Therefore, I decided a little Disney magic to our beautiful Canada enclosed. In my opinion it would be great to have a park like this. Well, some people will disagree with me because of weather, climate and the fact that North America already two giant Disney theme park resort has. But hey ... it's just my imagination! I'm already convinced that Disney will probably never build a Canadian theme park. This is the moment where the world of 3D modeling occurs on the plan. It is possible to me to design three-dimensional models of my concept ideas for my very own Canadian Disneyland and create. This is what I do when I use the expensive free software Blender. Not only does this Proket it allows me my virtual ideas into reality, it is also a good way for me this bizarre and yet wonderful hobby to share with you.
